Parties
Make a wish for a birthday to
remember at the Columbia Marionette Theatre! Its a one-of-a-kind
party for your one-of-a-kind kid! Birthday parties are available
each Saturday at 10 AM or 2 PM. Choose one of our four unique themed
areas for your perfect birthday celebration. Our party areas
are also great for daycares, preschool, church groups, sports teams
or scout troups to celebrate special occasions!

AM : For the morning show: you
arrive at 9:45 (not before please), your guests arrive at
10 AM, party until 11 AM when the show begins. Everything
wraps up by noon.
2 PM:
For the afternoon show: you arrive at 1:45 (not before
please), your guests arrive at 2 PM, party until 3 PM when
the show begins. Everything wraps up by 4 PM. |
All of the Columbia Marionette Birthdays include:
- The use of a colorful birthday party area for two hours
- Fun-filled puppet show. (birthday parties have priority seating
for our unique performances)
- A copy of a specially designed birthday invitation for your
use. (upon request)
- Freezer/Refrigerator available.
Cost/Payment
- A $35 non-refundable reservation fee is required -- you may
mail or drop off your check or cash.
- If your
reservation fee is not received, we reserve the right to cancel
your reservation.
- In addition to the $35 reservation fee, birthday parties cost
$4 per child the day of the show. Adults are free; children under two are free. The balance is due the day of the party.
- We have a 6-child minimum (this means if only four children
come, we ask that you still pay for six.)
Other Important Information
- Each area sits 25-30 children and includes one 8-foot table
and one 6-foot table, as well as eight benches for the children
and chairs for the adults. All areas are the same size.
- Party givers provide all food and drinks, plates, cups, utensils,
etc. Lighted candles are permitted.
- If you bring ice cream, we have a freezer that can temporarily
store it for you.
- Please do not bring noisemakers, confetti, silly string, glitter, pinatas, gum or popcorn or affix anything to the walls by any means.
- Please remember that while this is your child's birthday or
celebration, the puppet show they are seeing is a theatrical performance.
Your help in training proper theatre etiquette is appreciated.
- Entertainment Guide coupons and other special passes or coupons
are not valid for birthday parties.
